Dr. Jenny Jun, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
Dr. JJ has an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and Master of Science in Physiology/Neuroscience, both from Queen’s University. Actively engaged in continuing education, she has completed a Chartered Herbalist diploma and is undertaking psychology courses at University of Toronto.
Working with diverse cultures and health profiles is motivated by professional enjoyment and intention to understand pathological variation and improve treatment approach.
Jenny has worked with elders living in retirement homes; counselled street youth from Covenant House at YSM; served at Queen West Community Health Centre in Toronto; cared for mentally and/or physically disabled persons and underprivileged children/adults; participated in various outreach and volunteer programs; and treated clients in critical condition at a private rehabilitation centre.
Jenny continues to have comprehensive experience with those suffering from mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression, digestive concerns (acid reflux, constipation, irritable bowel), sleep disorders, weight loss, acne, mobility issues, and pain/inflammation.
Modalities of strength include: nutrition/diet, lifestyle and emotional counselling, botanical medicine, prescribing movement, and referring clients to other skilled practitioners outside of her scope of practice that would enhance the overall recovery process.
Vipassana meditation practice is paramount to her skill and well-being.
