Noah Bunnett
Shiatsu Therapist, Diploma Acupuncturist
My quest is to assist others to re-establish and enhance their health by means of acupuncture (Japanese technique) and shiatsu (a finger pressure therapy). I regularly treat a wide range of occupational and stress related conditions, including acute and chronic muscle pain, sleep and digestive problems.
Following my education in acupuncture at The Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, my expertise has been developing since 1995 under the guidance of my mentor, Dr. Tim Tanaka. During an intensive three year apprenticeship I was trained in shiatsu, acupuncture and moxibustion. Upgrading courses in anatomy, physiology and massage, and continuous self study have also added to my knowledge and skills.
I have also been working as Dr. Tanaka's clinical and research assistant. My understanding of the holistic health approach of acupuncture has been reinforced by my clinical study on acupressure treatment for headaches which I am currently completing.
I am an active member in good standing of The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada.
I am confident that regular shiatsu and acupuncture treatments can play a valuable role in maintaining and resolving your good health and help you achieve "peace and wellness for your mind and body".
