Happy 2009 from all the staff at Pacific Wellness Institute! We sincerely hope you had a wonderful holiday, and that your new year is off to a good start. According to the Chinese calendar, 2009 is the year of the Ox. What image does the ox exemplify, but one of hard-work and labour? This is something that all of us can relate to, perhaps not in the way of pulling a plow through a field, like the ox, but hard work and labour none-the-less. It’s a part of life, and so we do it – the important thing to remember is to keep a balance: All hard work, with no down time, is detrimental to our overall health.
Remember to make the time to find relaxation and peace; and when you do so, remember Pacific Wellness. Our therapist’s services are here to help you achieve the much needed relaxation, and health promotion, for your optimal balanced wellbeing. Whatever your health goals are in this new year, we at Pacific Wellness, are glad to be of service through acupuncture, massage, shiatsu, reflexology or naturopathic medicine.
Beyond the hard labour, the ox is also an image of dedication and strength. May this image also be one that we can all relate to – when we realize our greatest health potential and wellbeing. May this year be your time to achieve balance, reach your goals, and fulfill your dreams.
