Direct Billing Information Important Notice Regarding Direct Billing Unfortunately insurance companies have not made electronic billing available to alternative medicine providers yet. Therefore, a few important administrative steps must be taken before opening your account for direct billing. In order to process direct billing,
The entire process usually takes only a few days, but sometimes it may take more than a few weeks. It all depends on your insurance company’s promptness to respond to our inquiry and your cooperation in participating in the process. Please note that you can make an appointment and receive our service only after all the necessary forms are submitted, signed and approved. If you would like to receive a treatment sooner, you are welcome to do so by paying us first, and then submitting a receipt by yourself for reimbursement. It is also important for you to know that insurance plans will cover only approved services within allowance. If your insurance covers only a part of treatment cost, the difference will be billed to you due on day of the service. It is your responsibility to keep track of your available amount for coverage. We would like you to be fully aware that the billing process is done manually and it is not as easy as electronic billing which is simply a matter of swiping your card. It involves a substantial amount of additional administrative tasks and associated costs to the clinic. This is the main reasons why very few alternative medicine clinics offer the direct billing option. As a part of our ongoing commitment to our clients, we are offering this service free of charge.
